The Hull Daily Mail gave a great write-up of our fundraiser at East Side:

“The L6ve Life Foundation Rugby League Tournament was held in warm sunshine at East Side, Salt End, the home of Skirlaugh ARLFC.

The tournament involved 16 teams of over-35s and is expected to raise around £15,000 for L6ve Life, which aims to provide funds to to help people living with MND and to find a cure.

Among those taking part were former teammates of Mr Newton, along with players from other local rugby teams that locked horns with him throughout his Skirlaugh career.”
